Yellow in the Garden

On Monday, the color yellow dominated the Garden in all areas:

Wild Black Currant (R. americanum)

Wood poppy, or Celadine poppy
(Stylophorum diphyllum)

Yellow violet - species name unknown

Swamp buttercup
(R. septentrionalis)

Ohio buckeye
This is a tree in the Garden. The blossoms are quite showy,
but not fragrant

Thalictrum (possibly Early meadow rue, T. dioicum)

Marsh marigold, or cowslip
(Caltha palustris)

Large-flowered bellwort
(U. grandiflora)

Blue cohosh
(Caulophyllum thalictroides)

American bladdernut
(Staphylea trifolia)

Last, and least favorite, Leafy spurge, an invasive that
crowds out native plants (E. esula)
